Formerly Rocky Creek Horses Help

Horses for Healing is a nonprofit therapeutic horseback riding center for special needs children in Northwest Arkansas.

We offer equine-assisted therapy, hippotherapy and a weeklong camp for hearing-impaired children. Since its establishment in 1993, Horses for Healing has worked with schools and private clients in the Northwest Arkansas community to provide comprehensive programs for special needs children. In 2004 alone, we opened our doors to over 420 children becoming one of the largest therapeutic riding facilities in North America.

We relocated to a 75-acre facility in December 2004. Architectural plans are still in development for what is slated to be one of the finest therapeutic riding centers in the country. The complex's estimated completion is set for December 2009 and will feature expansive facilities including a covered outdoor arena, 30 stall barn, cabins and classrooms, in addition to the existing indoor riding arena and barns. Other camps are planned, including those for children with diabetes and cancer.

You can help us make a difference in the lives of these special needs children in our community. Come and be a part of this remarkable organization by volunteering your time or making a donation. You will be glad you did.
